Wildside Racecars is the creation of Terrence Whalen. Born out of a love for anything fast, Terrence first fell in love with cars as a little boy playing in the sandbox in his backyard. He has since graduated to bigger and better things such as his own competitive Drag Radial stock suspension mustang. Terrence worked for many years on Jim Heavner’s Pro 5.0 champion race team and now enjoys working with other local racers on their cars, always willing to provide advice and a helping hand. He has nearly 25 years of drag racing experience including setting and holding the record in Fun Ford Weekend’s Spring Break Shootout class. With many racing goals and achievements ahead of him, Terrence hopes that by creating Wildside Racecars, he will be able to fulfill those dreams as well as others’ dreams along the way.
